No Club Wednesday 17 December
A reminder there is no club on Wednesday 17 December due to the school performance taking place. Please collect children at 3.15pm
Performance - Tickets
Don't forget to buy your tickets! They are available in the office tomorrow morning or they can also be bought on the door on the evening
Performance - Times
Please return children to school for 5.30pm. Adults to make their way to the church buy refreshments, raffle tickets and get seated. Performance is due to start at 6pm
Performance - Outfits
Children in Little Foresters (preschool, reception and year 1) will have an outfit provided by school when they return at 5.30pm. Can they please wear dark plain leggings/trousers and a dark plain long sleeve t-shirt.
Children in Year 2 to Year 6 please wear festive clothing.
Performance - Refreshments
The PTA will be selling refreshments and raffle tickets on the evening. They have lots of choices: mulled wine, pasties, beer, soft drinks & mince pies. They also have some really good raffle prizes too. Cash is preferred as the card machine can be unreliable so bring some money with you!
Performance - Sing along
This year the nativity has a communal aspect. We have two songs that we are asking the audience to join in with us. We will leave song words for everyone to take part!
Performance - School Pupil Council Fundraising
School council pupils will be running some stalls in the church before our performance from 5:30 as part of an enterprise project with the rotary club. They will have crafts for sale and a couple of games to try. Bring along some spare change to take part! The proceeds will be split between the school and the selected charity of Shelterbox.
Performance - Parking
As always parking is tricky in the village. Please be careful when driving in to the village and be aware of pedestrians. Can we ask people to lift share, where possible, to minimise the number of vehicles. The gate to the playground will be open if anyone would like to park in there, please park considerately. As always, can we remind parents that The Crown car park is for their customers in the evening; they generously let us use their facilities at school times, but respect they need this space in the evenings.
Class Buffets
On Friday 19 December each class will have a buffet lunch. We are asking parents to bring in a selection of food in the morning of Friday 19 December. You do not need to book a school dinner/send in packed lunches. Thank you to everyone who is always on time for school. We are starting to notice the same pupils arriving after the gates have closed. In morning work, children are practising key skills, so missing this regularly can have a huge impact. If pupils arrive after the register has closed it is classed as an unauthorised absence. Please try and keep up your punctuality until the end of term. If you are having any particular difficulties, please let us know.
