2 x Peripatetic Site Manager

Location: Bridge MAT Main Office

Closing Date: 31/05/2021

Bridge Schools require a proactive member to join their premises team.

You will cover site management duties across 3 schools within the Trust and provide cover to other Trust schools as required. We have one position available based at Wadebridge to include cover at Blisland and Lanlivery and one further position available based at Looe to include cover at Duloe and Trenode. Principle responsibilities will be to maintain the security, safety, compliance, cleanliness and upkeep of the buildings, playgrounds and facilities working under the direction of the Bridge Schools Premises Managers.

If you have the ability to work on your own initiative, but also work as part of a wider team and are an all-rounder with a range of skills with proven experience:
• Basic understanding of electrics/plumbing
• General labouring/moving of furniture/equipment
• Basic understanding/experience with all basic hand and power tools
• General DIY skills and a good level of common sense
• Have a practical approach to problem solving
• Good communicator
• Well organised
• Reliable and trustworthy

Teaching Assistant - Pre-school

Location: Pelynt Primary Academy

Closing Date: 17/05/2021

We are pleased to be able to offer the opportinity for a Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive pre-school team.

This position is initially for 10 hours per week, fixed term in the first instance.

The role will involve working alongside other members of the team in our pre-school setting. The ideal candidate will have experience and understanding of supporting younger children. The pre-school welcomes children between the ages of 2 and 4 years and prides itself on providing them with the best opportunities to develop. We are looking for someone with experience and enthusiasm to support this.


Anticipated start date: As soon as possible

You should:
• Be able to take a pro-active role as a key member of a multi-disciplinary team in the support of children, staff, the early years curriculum and the school.
