Wadebridge Primary Academy are looking for a lunchtime supervisor to work for 1.5 hours each day across lunchtime 11:30 to 13:00.
As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment of children during their lunchtime. You'll supervise pupils in the dining hall and playground.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervising children during their lunch break (eating and playing)
Encouraging positive behaviour and good manners
Promoting active and safe play
Reporting any incidents or concerns to school staff
What We're Looking For:
Enhanced DBS (on the update service or willing to obtain one)
Some previous experience working with or caring for children (e.g. youth work, schools, clubs, childcare) is desirable
A caring, reliable, and enthusiastic individual
Ideal for someone looking to gain school experience or pursue a career as a Teaching Assistant or in education

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Club Assistant to join our team, and supporting children during breakfast before school (07:30-08:30 M-F). This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and fun environment, helping children develop social skills and enjoy play-based activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support children during breakfast sessions.
Ensure the safety, well-being, and inclusion of all children.
Build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
Requirements:
Experience working with primary-aged children in a similar setting is desirable.
Food hygiene certificate (or willingness to undergo necessary training)
A positive, proactive attitude with strong communication skills.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
A genuine passion for working with children and promoting their development.
